Precautions
Antacids can interfere with the absorption of iron preparations and/or tetracyclines. Should not be taken for more than 2 weeks, or if symptoms recur, unless otherwise directed by a physician. Should not be taken within 2hours of another medication, because the effectiveness of other medications may be altered.

Symptoms and Treatment:   Massive doses are unlikely to produce more than a mild gastrointestinal upset.

Recommended Dosage
Gelusil Extra Strength: 2to 4tablets 4times a day, between meals and at bedtime as required to relieve symptoms and promote recovery of active peptic ulcer disease.

Gelusil Extra Strength:  Each white, mint-flavored tablet contains: magnesium hydroxide 400mg and 400mg dried aluminum hydroxide gel (306mg aluminum hydroxide). Nonmedicinal ingredients: coumarin, magnesium stearate, mannitol, menthol, peppermint oil and sucrose. Energy: 14.7kJ (3.5kcal). Sodium: <1mmol (1.6mg)/tablet. Gluten-, lactose-, paraben-, sulfite- and tartrazine-free. Boxes of50blister packaged.
